Spring Break ABCs

A – A few lazy days of relaxing at home
B – Breakfast at Coco’s with Jose, Matthew, and Michael after returning from trip to visit Charlie
C – Cornflake French Toast with Charlie!
D – Discussing a possible family vacation to Portland in August so I can finally meet Trish Bloom!
E – Easter egg hunt on Saturday with Kathleen’s family
F – Facebook has sucked me in and I updated at least daily.
G – Grocery shopping a couple of times and a silent prayer of gratitude for the ability to buy groceries when many families in our country are struggling to put food on the table.
H – Having memories of childhood Easters to remind me of my beloved parents and memories of Easters when my sons were small children.
I – Ice cream bar after Pastrami Pizza (Snickers, yum yum!)
J – Just out of the oven homemade coffeecake baked twice this week by me
K – Knitting away on the Love lace scarf, baby blanket for Gomez baby, and socks for Vicki W.
L – Listening to lots of podcasts and inspirational music
M – Miniature golfing with Jose and the boys on Thursday! Such fun and laughs.
N – Naps!
O – Oranges dipped in chocolate as an Easter morning treat dropped off by my friend, Vicki S.
P – Pastrami Pizza at Downey Pizza Co. after mini-golfing
Q – Quiet time in the mornings to drink coffee, read, and enjoy life
R – Read a couple of books, several blogs, and a few magazines throughout the week
S – Strawberry shortcake for Easter dessert!
T – Tina, my friend, was sweet enough to accompany me on a dreaded Costco trip on Good Friday morning
U – Understanding that Easter is very different without little children in the house, but that is ok!
V – Vacation to Northern California for three days to visit my best friend, Charlie
W – Worshiping at Easter morning services
X – Extreme Home Makeover on Easter Sunday brought me to tears
Y – Yellow and orange tulips bought as a surprise for Tina, Vicki S., and my sister
Z – Zealously avoiding the scale this entire week!
