Michael's current "BFF" (best friend forever), Cathy, stopped by to bring him a homemade cake and a card for his 15th birthday. She visited for a bit with us and is a charming young lady. So far, there's just friendship there but it was a pleasure to have her in our home today. Isn't she adorable too?
Matthew's celebration consisted of a bunch of guy friends coming over to
hang out. Joe went and got 5 pizzas from Lil' Cesar's and Matthew requested Can't Leave Alone Bars as his "birthday cake" this year. What's sort of funny is that out of the five friends Matthew have had over, I have taught four of them either in 2nd grade or 5th grade. Kind of strange to see them as nearly grown men. They played basketball, video games, and hung out in his room. Good kids, good times for them. I insisted on taking a few photos!
