- a call from my son, Matthew, who is on a camping trip with his best friend's family since Sunday
- No bills in the mail
- An exciting episode of Big Brother 10
- successfully turned the heel on my second sock of my first pair ever
- the weather is cooling off
- looking forward to a "date" with my youngest son, Michael, on Friday
- Joe did the dishes without being asked
- Work on the house's stucco is progressing--the "brown coat" is going on now
- An energy-giving professional discussion with my principal
- Our school's growth in API (Academic Performance Index) on the state test is estimated to be 43 points--woo-hoo! (Last year's growth was only 5 pts)
- that first cup of coffee in the morning
- listening to podcasts while knitting
- being alive and looking forward to the next day!
It's time for me to have my little corner of the web. This blog is an inkling of my random thoughts, memories, worries, and joys. It's just a small part of what makes up the whole me. And it will be constantly changing because it is me...at this moment.

Those are wonderful things to be happy about right now. I Love how you do this, I should look at my little blessings(like how much I also enjoy my first cup of coffee each day etc..) it would probably put me in the right frame of mind to start each day. Have a wonderufl weekend Maria!
